It’s been a very wet May in the UK (with an average daily temperature of around 7, brr), I hear, and we got a little taste of it in Istanbul today as it rained and rained and rained.
Our contractor’s son popped by to collect a payment, over an hour late as the Metro was down and in the pouring rain no taxis were to be found. Tomorrow a great deal of work will be done, hopefully, as the concrete screed will be poured, and then there will be another pause as we wait a week or so for it to dry. And then, finally, floors and windows can both go in.
