More expenses have emerged around the flat, and the GF and I are feeling rather tender of wallet at the moment. Not, perhaps, the greatest surprise – it would have been quite remarkable to get through this whole business under budget, but still unpleasant. Oh well. May they not snowball.
Aside from a very long and expensive discussion about what needs to be done, this has been a very good working day – I sent off some important stuff, including a small invoice (a larger one is still to be prepared and sent) and some planning for future work. But still, the morning’s meeting is weighing on the mind.
Speaking of snowballs, today might have been the last day of spring. The forecast for the next week has far to many minus signs in it.
