Shopping

I went shopping for gifts today, and came back with some UV tops for various nephews and nieces, curry pastes and chocolates for various people. This was after a final trip to Benjakitti park, finding a new way there which makes it possible to reach the parts I like most directly from the BTS and down a protected path. The path runs along the roads, but it is wide and sequestered for walking and cycling. I am not sure it’s actually open to be used as there wasn’t a way in and I just slipped under the barrier, but on the other end it was open.

The park was lovely as ever, and I walked through it several times, going up the walkways and down through the winding wetland paths as I wished. It had rained this afternoon so it was very humid indeed, but cooler than other days.

I have enjoyed this time to myself, and was relieved that I didn’t spend it all in hiding as I fear sometimes for my hikikomori tendencies.

I am not sure how much I walked, mostly in the park thank heavens, but also to and from it and then in the shops, but my feet were really quite tired by the time I returned.
