Second look

A quiet sort of day as usual. After my class we went down to Playa Negra to look again at the plot of land we’re tempted by and to try to visualise what we might do with it. Afterwards we went for a swim. These two or three weeks are, we are told, an annual occurrance when the sea is glass-still and the air is dry and warm. The rest of the year there are great waves and fierce riptides. So our swim was not entirely representative of what life would be like here.
