Return to the city

Today was our return. In the morning, after breakfast, we took another short walk, in a different direction, but this was mostly over roads katcha and pakka. Along the way we chatted about the potential downfall of global capitalism as sparked by the top football clubs in Europe deciding to form a mini-league of their very own. Interesting just how much fury there is about it.

In the meantime, Pakistan continues to whip on the whirlwind like a top, breaking the hearts of anyone who cares, pandering to the extreme right who just beat a number of policemen to death.

On our return to Istanbul I dashed out to bring back some falafel for lunch, and then we went to Cihangir for coffee and to buy some supplies, including my beloved tarama, the breakfast of champions. And that is all, really.
