Over dinner last night I mentioned to the GF that rumour has it a lockdown is imminent. After dinner I put the dishes in the dishwasher and went for a shower. Came out to learn that a lockdown has been announced: weeknight curfews and weekend lockdown. Not too onerous still, but I hope this is enough to control the spread.
In other news: the GF and I have been very belatedly converted to the way of the dishwasher and have been feeling rather sheepish about coming to it so late. Even when we had a dishwasher (in Malaysia and in many places we’ve stayed in over the past couple of years) we didn’t use it. Modern convenience is a wonderful thing.
