A filthy day today. Cold, raining, miserable. A bad day to go into town, for other reasons as well, but I had to go to Liberty and collect a gift I’d bought online. Liberty is always a hellhole, particularly on weekends, when the weather is bad,, and in the runup to Christmas. Today it was all three. I was rather glum otherwise as well, as it’s a difficult sort of day and I woke to the news of the Supreme Court decision in India regarding the Babri masjid. Then there is the worry what to do with all of our belongings here in London, and finally my work is still unfinished. So yes, blaugh.
My ergonomic keyboard has arrived and I’m afraid I’m finding it really hard to get used to it. It’s a split keyboard and I am not a trained typist – I’m very fast but taught myself, so am struggling to adapt to this. Whereas the GF, who took typing lessons as a teenager, had no problem at all typing away on it. Well, I shall persevere – it was expensive and moreover if it keeps my right arm functional it’s worth the slight learning curve.
My arm hasn’t hurt at all today, and was even strong enough that I lifted a heavy box. Not something I’ve been able to do much of in the past few months. Fingers crossed this continues.
