The morning was spent discussing the family of yesterday, and in the afternoon another family came by, one less tense certainly, but established in well-worn grooves where one member would say something as true fact and everyone else would explain how they did not understand human beings. No one seemed particularly bothered by it, and it was so clearly an established communal ritual, but for me as an outsider to this interaction, and one who starts arguing silently with any statement about how the world or people are, it made it another tiring day. The working week feels like it will be a welcome break, a time to rest.
