Closing up

Good morning, happy new year all.

It poured with rain this morning. Last night, at midnight, the church bells rang out and I could hear the sound of fireworks and people cheering. For myself, I clicked send on a particularly troublesome document, so celebrated in style.

I was asleep for what was truly on my mind of course. The inconveniences of Brexit have started. I doubt the impacts will be particularly apocalyptic: more of a slow heat death than a sudden supernova. And maybe, maybe, a few years from there will be interest in rejoining. Or, I suppose, the world will have moved on, maybe the flaws of that project will have caused it to topple. Who knows.
