Now we get to the religious parties, and what I think is the best flag qua flag, that of PAS, the religious party. It was all over Terengganu a couple of months ago, and looked quite impressive. Also impressive, in a different way, is the flag with a brain on it.

Here we come to the outer circles of the Barisan. Another superhero flag, this time for a Doc Manhattan figure, plus the inexplicable Muslim Congress rose.

Some more Barisan flags here, mostly from East Malaysia where they go in for certain iconography: outline maps, outlines of Mt Kinabalu, and handshakes. I like the MyPPP flag the best on this page; it’s basically a superhero insignia.

I collected images of all the Malaysian party flags before the election, but my snide commentary on them was promptly rendered outdated by the election result.
