I placed a poor order from the supermarket today. The only good thing in it was the yoghurt and a few sticks of lemongrass which I hope to grow. Other than that, there was a handful of unpromising raspberries, a funny knobbly fruit that cost 20 lira, a half-rotten bok choi, laundry detergent and a lot of toilet paper. We had both toilet paper and laundry detergent in stock but we didn’t have dishwasher detergent or rubbish bags, neither of which I ordered and which the GF had then to go and buy.
I received several spam emails with the subject line ‘Financing Programs Make Walk-In Bath Tubs Available to More Seniors’. I suppose it must yield clicks? Probably from poor shoppers like me.
