At last, at last

My computer has been released by customs, more than a month after I ordered and over three weeks after I got the email stating it had been shipped. With luck it’ll arrive tomorrow.

GMum arrived last night whilst I was dozing on the sofa. I leapt up to open the door to her and to the GF, and I think looked reasonably awake, but was incapable of forming words let alone sentences. Fortunately my tongue is usually well tied up, so it didn’t really matter.

This morning we went for lunch at Chocha Food Store which was on good form. Then Isetan for some over priced drip coffee, and Pavilion to buy the GF a pair of slippers. Then back, to the good news.

Inevitably, I have received a pile of work, and will have to also get my computer in usable state very quickly before leaving as I will have some work during the holiday. Among this work is a large chunk from a UN agency in South America. I had done similar work in Pakistan previously and it is interesting – and, for a Pakistani, gratifying, to see the difference in quality.

How annoying to not be able to write more clearly, but there it is.
