Bank, brie, banana leaf

I had a surprisingly easy visit to the bank to get a proof of account today. If they keep it up the waves of nausea at the mention of the bank’s name might actually stop. Now whether that proof of account is actually accepted is another matter as it looks nothing as official as it should. It is stamped, signed and with a chop (chopped?), though.
Apparently last night I woke up and discoursed at some length about brie. I am not much of a brie eater so why remains a mystery.
I had my first banana leaf meal yesterday, in Masjid Jamek. It came with beetroot, potato and tomato, and we ordered the fish curry to moisten the rice with fried squid and mutton varuval. Very tasty (especially the curry and the squid), though I still want to try the sort where they mix up the curries for you.
Happily there was cutlery. I really dislike eating wet foods with my fingers if there is no roti in the way. (I also despite anyone who doesn’t eat roti with their hands, so there is that).
