A moderate success

The workshop is over, and it was a moderate success. The timing was very poorly managed, and my technical skills were not up to managing breakout rooms etc so that was a fiasco, but my bit of the presentation was ok, and I think most people appreciated the one-on-one discussions (other than the time issue). There was one breakout room with some very grumpy people which I fled as soon as I could, but the others were good.

I am absolutely shattered. Unlike the others conducting the workshop I am not an academic, so am not used to multiple hours of presentations. And I am certainly not a teacher by inclination.

The second half of the workshop was on graphical stuff, and there was a rather fun exercise to draw a six panel comic. It was supposed to be based on ethnography, since of course all the attendees were ethnographers, but this is what I drew since I am not, of course, an ethnographer and my computer is my fieldsite.
