Our architect sent over three new proposed plans and, rather to our surprise, they are quite promising and have several ideas for how to redo the flat effectively. So a very good start, and we will ask her to make a few changes, consult the engineers as required, and hopefully, kick it all off.
Less promising was my Turkish lesson this morning. I did a trial lesson with someone online and it was fine but nothing special. Although I did set it up to fail a bit by not having pen and paper. Let’s see. I’ve booked a trial lesson with a different teacher tomorrow, and after hope to have a couple of hours every week. The pricing is not at all transparent, though, so let’s see how it goes.
A rather flat feeling day today. Far too much work, not enough time, gnawing worries, a very large (expected) tax bill, and a feeling of being trapped.
